Richard Arnold

Richard Earl Arnold, 90, of Wooster, died July 26, 2018 at West View Healthy Living.

Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Dr. Kevan S. Franklin officiating. A private burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Richard was born January 9, 1928 in Wooster to Earl and Opal {Shepherd} Arnold.

He attended the College of Wooster for two years.

He married Mary Wagner on June 15, 1952.

Richard retired from Whittaker Corporation in Orrville after 40 years. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster.  Richard enjoyed reading, watching sports, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Richard will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years; children Gary Arnold of Wooster, Ken (Julie) Arnold of Alexandria, VA, Carol (Charlie) Saranita of Avon Lake; grandchildren Tiffany (Shawn) Stover of Delaware, Kate and John Arnold of Alexandria, VA, Christopher and Allison Saranita of Avon Lake; sister Lois Gardner of Orrville.

Richard was preceded in death by his son Lynn Arnold, brothers David and Wayne Arnold, and sister LaVonne Lowell.
