Richard Joseph Sohar, 57, of Wooster, died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his residence.

Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Joe was born October 24, 1964 in Wooster, Ohio to Richard A. and Marcene {Hooser} Sohar.

He graduated from Wooster High School in 1982.

Joe worked for Buehlers for over 20 years and Hawkins for 5 years. He enjoyed cars especially Cadillacs and was a talented artist.

Joe will be deeply missed by step-father Jack E. Mohler of Wooster; sister Vicki Lynn (Greg) Cherilla of Creston; nieces Lacey Lynn Cherilla, and Faith Walters; nephews Chris Paul, Tim Randall, and Chad Yutzy; and several grand-nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Brenda Massaro.
