Richard "Richie" Bauer

Richard “Richie” J.  Bauer, 88, of Wooster, died Saturday, October 30, 2021 at LifeCare Hospice.

Richard was born January 5, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Alma {Lancer} Bauer.

He married Jacqueline Kerswill on October 21, 1952.

He worked as a Teamster, drove for the Cleveland Press and The Plain Dealer where he retired in 1993. Richie enjoyed being on the golf course with the boys from work, spending time at the casinos, and being around his friends and family. He loved animals, feeding all the stray dogs before coming home from work.

Richard will be deeply missed by his wife, son Mike, grandchildren Michael Anthony.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, son Richard Allen, and sisters Arlene and Lois, and all his beloved pets.
