Robert O. Ball Sr., 76, of Marietta, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Robert was born March 19, 1940 in Noble County, Ohio to Ernest and May {Swain} Ball.
He married Evelyn on January 10, 1959.
He worked at Kardex for 38 years. He was a Trustee and a Lifetime member of the Washington County Fish and Game. Robert enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and golfing.
Robert will be deeply missed by his wife Evelyn; children James Ball (friend Rose) of Marietta, Robin (Ralph) Arbaugh of Weston, WV and Robert (Fara) Ball Jr. of Lowell; grandchildren Brandon Collins of Utah, Stacy (John) Dobbs of North Carolina and Robert Ball III of North Carolina; great grandson Grant Dobbs of North Carolina; brothers Bill, Junior and Charles; sisters Bertha and Charlene.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy, Willard and Floyd; sisters Nora and Betty.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
