Robert Jean Bond, 74, of Elyria, died June 1, 2015 at his home in Shreve.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, 7067 Cleveland Road, Wooster, OH 44691. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend John T. McCourt officiating. Robert was born October 10, 1940 in Harlan, KY to Porter and Zola {Buckhart} Bond.
He served in the United States Army.
Robert married Donna {Lindsey} on July 25, 1969.
He was a member of the Wellington Eagles, and an avid car repairman.
Robert will be deeply missed by his wife; child Lynette (Greg) Pay; grandchildren Jerry (Brittney) Donovan, Bridgett Donovan, Markail Pay and Shelby Pay ; great-grandchild Jeremiah Donovan; brothers Charles (Barb) Bond, Ricky Bond, Lee (Jeanne) Bond, Ed (Bernice) Bond; sisters Peggy Ellis, and Linda (David) Wilcinski.
Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Ron and Dan, and his sisters, Pat and Brenda.
