Robert Joseph Cherilla, 76, of Wooster, died Wednesday, December 14, at his residence.

Robert was born September 30, 1939 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Joan {Carl} Cherilla.
He was a 1957 Wooster High School Graduate.
Robert married Bonnie A. Kerr on July 22, 1966.
He was an employee of The Rubbermaid Company for over 28 years, where he retired in 1999. Robert was an avid golfer, where he had hit a hole in one at the Mohican Hills Golf Course in 1991. He loved to do wood working, reading old Westerns, doing yard work and spending time with his family.
Robert will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years; sons Ramsey and Wesley Cherilla of Wooster, Mark (Diane) Cherilla of Auburn, Maine; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister in law Pat Cherilla, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brother Raymond Cherilla, and sister Joan Smail.
