Robert Frederick Miller

Robert Frederick Miller, 68, of New Matamoras, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Legacy Marietta.

Robert was born December 9, 1955 in Marietta to Frederick and Janis{Bauman} Miller.

He graduated from Frontier High School in 1973.

Robert married Deborah Kinsey on October 28, 1983. 

He worked for the Consolidated Coal Company at the Powhatan Number 4 mine and for Grimes Sand & Gravel in New Matamoras, retiring in 2017. Robert was a member of Eddy’s Ridge Church of Christ where he loved to sing. He enjoyed gardening and other outdoor activities.

Robert will be deeply missed by his wife Deborah; son Joshua (Eliza) Miller of Selma, IN; daughter Valerie (Patrick) Hooper of St. Marys, WV; eight grandchildren; brother William (Mitsuko) Miller of Marietta; and sister Janet Perrine of Newport.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call Tuesday, November 19th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Tim Fleeman officiating. Burial will be at New Matamoras Cemetery. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
