Robert Leckrone

Robert Carl Leckrone, 74, of Wooster, died Friday December 15, 2023 at Fairview Hospital, in Cleveland surrounded by his family, after a long illness.

Robert was born April 5, 1949 in Wooster to Weldon and Ruth {Hague} Leckrone.

Robert served in the Army.

Robert worked for Rubbermaid for 33 years before retiring. He enjoyed camping and campfires. Robert was involved in 4-H with his kids and could never miss the Wayne County Fair.

Robert will be deeply missed by his sons Jeremy (Brandy) Leckrone of Wooster and Jason Leckrone of Shreve; grandchildren Kale Leckrone, Carissa Leckrone, and Zane Leckrone; 1 great-grandson; and good friend Roger Leonhardt.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Lawrence.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 29 at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
