Robert Lee Hauger

Robert “Rob” Lee Hauger II, 63, of Ashland, died February 23, 2025 at UH Cleveland Medical Center, in Cleveland.

Rob was born December 27, 1961 in Connersville, Indiana to Robert and Velma {Anderson} Hauger.

He married Rebecca DeHaven on March 9, 1991. 

Rob worked at the Dale Roy School in Ashland for 10 years and Scot Industries in Wooster for 15 years. He was a member of Bethel Church in Savannah, and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Ashland. Rob also volunteered at Mission to Amish People Ministries. He enjoyed going on bus tours and going shopping with his wife.

Rob will be deeply missed by his wife Becky; children Eric M Hauger and Wendy (Carlton) Buchanan; grandson Hudson James Buchanan; brothers Steve Hauger, Rick Hauger; sisters Debbie (Dean) Stowe, Becky (Steve) Downin, Christy “Pumpkin” Sinnott.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Joe Sinnott.

Friends may visit Friday March 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bethel Church in Savannah. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at the church (and livestreamed on the churches website) with Pastor John Bouquet officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
