Robert W. Dye, 79, of Orrville, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Arnie Kauffman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior. Robert was born August 29, 1933 in Applecreek, Ohio to Elmer and Vida {Moser} Dye. He married Faith Emery on April 27, 1984. She survives.
He worked for 33 years as a machinist for Westinghouse in Orrville. He raised rabbits for 19 years after retiring.
Robert will be deeply missed by his children Rebecca Mayo of Canton, John Dye, Robin Nunez, and Karon McDonald all of Reno, NV; step-children Michael Stroh of Lakeville, Daniel Stroh of Lakeville, Christina Anatra of Mansfield, and Judith Burton of Ashland; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings Donna Hydu, Elmer Jr., Gary, and Nevin Dye.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Sharon Lu-Haro stepson Richard Stroh and brothers Charles and Tom Dye.
