Robert "Bob" Herald

Robert “Bob” Herald, 65, of Wooster, went to walk with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from the Wooster City Hospital.

Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will be Monday at 11 am at the Grace Church with Pastor Robert D. Bob was born July 25, 1953 in Wooster to Richard “Dick” and Rilla {Decker} Herald.

He graduated from Triway High School then from Ashland College.

He married Jane Schlarb on May 7, 1977.  She survives.

Bob worked for Cerco LLC in Shreve for 40 years.
Bob was an active member of Grace Church, where he taught adult Bible class, led the College & Careers class, served as a youth counselor, and served on the Board of Directors.

He was an avid reader, loved nature, and enjoyed time at Ocean Isle Beach with his family.

Bob will be deeply missed but forever celebrated by his wife, Jane; children Stacy (Marius) Meiring of Marysville and Steven (Amanda) Herald of Massillon; grandchildren Liam and Graysen Meiring, Sienna and Aria Herald; his parents of Wooster; brothers Jeff (Dee) Herald of Calabash, NC, Larry (Janice) Herald of Wooster.
