Robert "Bob" Hoover

Robert Owen Hoover, 85, of Wooster, died March 9, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster. He suffered from Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Bob was born August 4, 1932 in Ashland County to Harry and Mildred {Botdorf} Hoover. Bob was their last surviving child.

Bob married Patricia (Tallmadge) Hoover on February 15, 1952.  They just celebrated their 66 ^th anniversary.

He worked for General Motors until his retirement in 1988. Pat and Bob, through the years, acquired many wonderful memories as they traveled to all 50 states, Canada and Mexico.  More recently to Australia, New Zealand, China, Thailand, and Costa Rica.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist church in Orrville.

Bob will be deeply missed by his wife Pat of Orrville; children Joe Hoover formerly of Wooster now of Arizona, R. David Hoover of Ashland, Stan(Cindy) Hoover of Wooster, Linda (Mark) Smith of Orrville, Margee (Marty) Pagnucco of Alliance

; grandchildren Wendy (Kayger) Kingery, Steven Hoover, Jake Baker, Race Baker, and Vikki Escola, nine step grandchildren; and  five great-grandchildren; and his best buddy Buster.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Don, Tom, and Larry; and sister Patricia Littleton.
