Rodney Kick

Rodney “Rod” Lee Kick, 68, of Apple Creek, died December 10, 2024 at his residence.

Rod was born July 24, 1956 in Wooster, Ohio to Gerald and Marilyn {Condry} Kick.

Rod graduated from Wooster High School. 

He married Joyce Gardiner on July 24, 2000. 

Rod worked at Wooster Products and was a mechanic by trade. Before then he owned a few gas stations in the area. He enjoyed his riding his motorcycles, and for a long time he rode motorcross. Rod was an avid race fan and really enjoyed dirt track racing. Rod loved his family and had a huge heart for animals. He liked music and playing trivia with his family. He also spent time playing darts and horseshoes as well.

Rod will be deeply missed by his wife; son Joshua Kick, Wayne (Lori) Kasserman, Jeremiah Neubert; daughter Tracy Kasserman; grandchildren Cody (Courtney) Kasserman, Dylan Kasserman, Alexis Neubert, Jonathan Neubert ; great grandchildren Cale Drown, Kennedy Drown; sister Gayla; father Gerald Kick; aunt Diane; step-mother Bernice and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rod was preceded in death by his mother and brother Randall Kick.

Friends may call Tuesday December 17, 2024 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
