Rodney Long

Rodney Lee Long, age 65, of Lowell, Ohio died Thursday, March 24, 2022 at his home.

He was born October 12, 1956 in Cambridge, Ohio to Estell Long and Freeda B. Long (who passed away September 28, 1965). Estell then remarried Eula Belle Long who raised him to be a wonderful man with a big heart.

He was an avid fisherman and partier and in his younger days he graduated from Wooster High School and was All Ohio in Wrestling. Following High school, Rodney joined the U.S. Army.

Rodney is survived by his brother Terry Long and his daughter Darlene (John Drotos); grandchildren Collie, Taner (Hallie) and Axil (Shana) and Nichole Hartleben; great grandchildren Zakiyah Treadway, Kaavia Robinson, Clay Pirez, Maci Robinson; Braxton, Allison and Jaxton Hartleben, Amelia, Shepard and Winston Robinson; nephew Mike Long.

In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by his wife Martha Jane Long on May 2, 2018 and his brother Robert.

There will be no public services. Roberts Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
