Roger D. "Turtleman" Sauer, age 68, of Marietta, died April 29th, 2016 at The Arbors at Marietta. He was born November 16, 1947 in Marietta.
He worked for Merchants 5-Star and the dog shelter.
Roger is survived by his brothers Melvin G. (Martha) Oliver of Marietta and Randy W. (Denise) Oliver of Marietta; nieces Patty (Robert) Cottrill, Randi Sue (Bakary) Dampha, Miranda Oliver, Maria Oliver, Melody Oliver and Lyrisha Randolph; nephews Kenny McKown and Bobby Randolph; great nieces Nellie Cottrill, Cheyenne Cottrill, October Cottrill and Anastaish Dampha; great nephews Danny Cottrill and Dakota Cottrill; sister-in-law Cheryl (Terry) Garrett.
He was preceded in death by mother Dorothy J. Oliver, stepfather Walter B. Oliver, father Max B. Sauer, brother Walter A. Oliver, sister Judith Sauer.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 1st at 7 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta 45750. The family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
