Ronald Dean Snow, 65, originally from Wadsworth, OH, died Saturday, October 12th in Bay Care Alliant Hospital in Dunedin, FL.
Friends may call Friday October 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Snow officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Ron was born April 24th, 1948 in Ashland, OH to Dean and Leona {Easterday} Snow.
Ron graduated in 1968 from Cloverleaf High School as well the Cleveland Metro Parks Ranger Academy in 1975.
He married Elaine Stavey on June 9th, 1968.
Ron worked for GTE/Verizon telephone Company for 30 years before retiring in 2000. He was also served as a Special Deputy Sheriff for Medina County as well as a Park Ranger for the Medina County Park District.
When living in Ohio, Ron attended the First Church of God in Creston where he sang in the choir and served on the board of trustees for many years. He more recently attended the Calvary Chapel Worship Center in New Port Richey, FL where he served as an usher and greeter.
Ron always enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his grandchildren's sporting events, hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his Church men's group. Ron was the sort of person that always put the needs of others before his own and would drop everything he was doing to give someone else a hand.

Ron will be deeply missed by his wife; children Ron and Misty (Steele) Snow of Creston, OH; grandchildren Kirsten and Logan Snow; brothers Edwin-Butch (Sharon) Blough of Jersomesville, OH; Jim (Kaye) Blough of Wadsworth, OH; Lonnie (Sonie) Snow of Liberty IN; and Rev Don (Becky) Snow of New Philadelphia, OH; sisters Nancy Weekly of Reedsburg, OH; Linda (Gene) Spoerr of Ashland, OH; Carol Ann (Jerry) Wenger of Akron, OH; and Vicky (Stu) Miller of Las Vegas, NV
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brother Marlin Blough
