Ronald "Ronnie" Wohlford, 75, of Wooster, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to in lieu of flowers to New Pittsburgh Fire & Rescue at 3311 N. Elyria Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
Ronald was born February 23, 1940 in Millersburg to Paul and Hilda {Rouch} Wohlford.
Ronald served in the United States Marine Corps for three years.
He married Kathy {Shepherd} on February 17, 1978.
Ronald retired from Buckeye Supply in 1992 and then worked for the family business, KW Salvage. He enjoyed going to auctions, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Ronald will be deeply missed by his wife, Kathy, of 37 years; children Mike Wohlford of Wooster and Jaclyn (Curtis) Boldman of West Salem; grandchildren Krystal, Danielle, Madelyn, Breyton and Braxton; great-grandchildren Rodney, Travis and Wyatt; brother Larry (Linda) Wohlford of Wooster; sisters Marcia (Dairell) Richardson of Wooster and Sandy (Red) Martin of Wooster; many nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Harvey.
