Rosella Rose

Rosella Ann Rose, 75, of Polk, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her residence.

Rosella was born December 14, 1942 in Ashland to Robert C. and Miriam E. {Flickinger} Bates.

She married Garmon Rose on February 3, 1962.  He passed on February 14, 2008.

Rosella was a caregiver for most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Salem, where she was a member of the Senior Club.  Rosella enjoyed arts and crafts, especially crocheting and painting with glass.

Rosella will be deeply missed by her children Darrin (Milly Green) Rose of Akron and Teresa (Bryan) Rose-Wallace of Polk; grandchildren Ashley (Alexander) Nye and Jacob Rose-Wallace both of Polk; great-grandson Dean Edward Nye; daughter-in-law Robin Rose of Indiana; special friend Ralph Johns of West Salem.

Rosella was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years and son Russell Rose.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
