Roy P. Miller, 89, of Wooster, died Tuesday March 19, 2013 at his residence at West View Healthy Living.

Roy was born March 19, 1924 in Wooster, Ohio to Elmer and Wilma {Mowrer} Miller.
He served in the US Army in World War II where he reached the rank of Sergeant.
He married Pauline Idella Short on September 5, 1942.
Roy was a well-known building contractor in the area. He sponsored a slow pitch softball team for many years.
Roy will be deeply missed by his children Jerry R. Miller of Laguna Woods, California, Larry W. Miller, Phillip P. (Janet) Miller, and Terry G. (Debra) Miller all of Wooster; grandchildren William, Heidi, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Michelle, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren Jason, Josh, Natasha, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Trevor and Tyler; great-great-grandchildren Colton, Madison Marie; brothers Donnie Miller; sisters Marjorie, Wanda, June and Janet.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, brother Ralph, Gene, sister Virginia.
