Russell E. "Gin" Repp Jr., 69, of Shreve, died December 22, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio, in Ashland.
Friends may call Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. at the Shreve United Methodist Church, 430 North Main Street, Shreve, OH with Pastor Bill Lawson officiating. Russell was born January 4, 1944 in Lodi, Ohio to Russell E. Sr. and Dorothy E. {Esenwine} Repp.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He worked for Millis Trucking as a driver and retired in November 2010.
He enjoyed vegetable and ornamental gardening, photography, spending time with his dog Roxy, and livestock shows.
Russell will be deeply missed by his companion, Marcia Gluck; children Angel Repp of Shreve, Rusty (Lucy) Repp of Loganville, Georgia, Brent (Audrey) Repp of Shreve, and Mindy (Eric) Whittington of Chicago Illinois; 2 grandchildren; brothers Art (Charlotte) Repp of Nebraska, Dave (Linda) Repp of Howard, Ohio; sisters Nancy (Gary) Parker of Wadsworth, Ohio, Barb Lowry of Columbus, Ohio, Dorothy (Bob) Goon of Polk, Ohio, and Deana (Charlie) Rogers of Seville, Ohio; brother-in-law Lloyd Kahrig of Wooster, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Connie Kahrig.
