Ruth Bell

Ruth Eileen Bell, 79, of Wadsworth, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Ruth was born December 12, 1939 in Clare, MI to Carl and Doetha {Storey} Bradley.

She married James Kyler Bell on April 4, 1959.  He passed on March 23, 2017.

She worked for Giant Eagle in Wadsworth. Ruth was a lifelong follower of Christ. She was a longtime member of T.O.P.S. and enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking and was a devoted homemaker. Ruth and James enjoyed gardening and growing various plants and trees. The highlight of Ruth’s life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her children Jim of Akron, OH, Bonnie Bumbaugh of Bryan, OH, Mike (Lori) of Dayton, OH, Larry (Gina) of West Unity, OH, Clay (Jen) of Kirtland, OH, Carolyn Bell of St. Helena, CA, Virginia (Jeff) Kern of Wadsworth, OH; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn (Tom) Sheltz and Marjorie Lynch-Park of Florida.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, granddaughter Olivia Kern, sisters Joyce Carncross and Janet Stokes.

Services will be Monday, April 1st at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville with Pastor Eric Keffer officiating.
