Ruth Carver

Ruth E. Castin Carver passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the age of 90. She was born November 6, 1926 in Constitution, Ohio to Gilbert and Lydia Wagner. She married Omer Castin in 1942, who preceded her in death July 1, 1998. Ruth worked at the Marietta Times and retired from Kardex. Ruth enjoyed traveling, bowling, and tending to her flowers. She is survived by three sons, James Castin (Kathy) of Lady Lake, FL, Jon Castin (Shelly) and Jeff Castin (Nina) of Marietta; two daughters Janis Billetdeaux (Brian) and Joyce Castin of Marietta; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin Wagner (Sue) and Dale Wagner of Marietta. Ruth was also preceded in death by her parents; sister Alice Schafer of Canton; sister-in-law Raoma Wagner of Marietta; son-in-law Steve Bozett of Marietta and her second husband Earl Carver of Marietta. Private family graveside services will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Brian Weber officiating.
