Ruth Lance

Ruth A Lance, 80, of Wooster, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 19 at LifeCare Hospice. As per her wishes th ere will be no services held. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of friends and family. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd , Wooster, OH 44691 R uth was born January 1, 1939 in Wooster to Edward and Elizabeth {Phillips} Perram. Ruth married Jim Lance on June 12, 1960. He passed away December 5, 2016. She worked for Rubbermaid before starting her family, She then stayed home to raise her children before returning to the work force where she devoted 15 years to Dunlap Hospital in Orrville. Ruth enjoyed tennis, golf, bridge, scrapbooking and her friends. She also loved animals and enjoyed cooking. When she was younger she obtained her private pilot license. Ruth will be deeply missed by her children Halle (Rick) Donaldson of El Cerrito, California and Randy Lance of Wooster . She will also be missed by her brother Bob Perram. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
