Ruth Marquart

Ruth Elizabeth Marquart, 95, of Wadsworth, died Monday, August 13, 2018 at Barberton Manor Care after a brief illness.

Ruth was born June 23, 1923 in Winterset, Ohio to Clyde and Amanda {Kail} Combs.

She married Robert E. Marquart in February of 1959.  He passed on January 12, 1995.

Ruth brought joy to so many people.  She made everyone welcome.  Ruth actively enjoyed life traveling to Europe, Hawaii and all over the United States with her husband Bob.  She was very generous with her time and money supporting others, she was especially concerned for the children of the Appalachian Mountains.  Ruth loved animals and gave to many organizations supporting their well-being.  She loved flowers and had a beautiful garden of roses in every color.  Ruth loved confectionaries and shared her baked goods with neighbors, family and friends. She was a member of Fresh Water Church (Christian and Missionary Alliance Church) for over 30 years.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her loving sister Zola (Forrest) Simpson; sister-in-law Maxine Eckelberry; nieces Janice (Dave) Baker, Elaine (Rick) Lawson, Cheryl (Tom) Stoner; nephews Ralph (Jackie) Simpson and Jay (Barbara) Simpson; fourteen great nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband and brother George Combs.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
