Ruth Ann Muntz

Ruth Ann (Davis) Muntz, 95, of Marietta, passed away Sunday October 6, 2024 at Elison Assisted Living in Marietta.

Ruth was born January 17, 1929 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Emlin “Mike” and Helen (Flowers) Davis. Ruth was a member of the Basilica St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church. Ruth worked at B.F. Goodrich/ R.J.F. until she retired.

She married Joseph Muntz on April 12, 1948. They were married 71 years and Joe proceeded her in death in February 2020. Joe and Ruth had four boys, infant son David, deceased, Mike, deceased in 2006, Fred (Teresa) and John (Debra) of Marietta. Also surviving are five grandchildren Bryan (Heather) Muntz, Michelle (Jeff) Richards, Amanda Muntz, Isaac (Lindsey) Muntz and Tim (Amber) Muntz; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Sharon Muntz; sister-in-law Naomi Muntz; brother-in-law Paul Muntz along with several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding Ruth in death are siblings Bill (Esther) Davis in 2013, Jim (Jean) Davis in 2018 and Lois Lanker in 2020.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elison along with Amedisys Hospice Care (Megan and Morgan) for the loving care they gave to Ruth
