Sally W. Abbott

Sally W. Abbott, 81, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Wayne County Care Center with her family by her side.

Sally was born September 28, 1943 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania to Edward S. and Sara {Deer} Welsh. She married Curt Abbott on December 31, 1977, he survives.

Sally worked for ODOT for 18 years, retiring in 2006. She was an amazing artist and loved her creations. 

Sally will be deeply missed by her husband, Curt; children Brian (Shiela) Lawson and step-children Shawn (Bernadette) and Kim Abbott; a one grandson Dustin Mullen and step-granddaughter Amanda Abbott.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Lawson.

Private services will be held and burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
