Sally Ann Hart, 84, of Wooster, died June 29, 2020 at her residence.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, there will only be a private Celebration of Life for family at her son’s residence in Wooster. There will also be a private celebration at her home in Wooster on a date yet to be determined. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Sally was born January 15, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio to Edgar Beauford and Sue Mildred (Hoy) Willis.
She had a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Akron and completed a Masters of Social Work from a University in Florida.
She worked at Castle Nursing Home in Millersburg, Ohio, then moved to Florida and became an Independent Occupational Consultant and an expert witness for Social Security cases in Florida, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. After retiring from her personal business, she began to write and authored 5 fiction titles, which always kept her researching and talking with others. She was a member of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) and Heifer International. When she was not reading, researching her newest novel, watching any scientific show on TV, or bragging about her grandchildren, she played Contract Bridge in several groups in every town she resided. She also loved to entertain, and was an excellent hostess. In addition, She was also a former member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation.
Sally will be deeply missed by her children Steve (Therese) Upperman of Wooster, Tina (Karl) Wrieden of Columbia, Tennessee , and Jeffery (Maria) Upperman of Southlake, Texas ; grandchildren: Gregory Upperman, Kristofer Wrieden, Jonathan (Tessa) Wrieden and Sarah (Christopher) Boykin; great-grandchildren: Tucker Boykin
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother and partner Mimi.
