Sandra Louise Houghton, 47, of Jeromesville, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hospice Care Center of Akron.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Emanuel Old Stone Church, 6000 Congress Road, Wooster with Pastor Dan Bartkowiak. Sandra was born January 24, 1966 in Orrville, Ohio to Lester "Jack" Houghton and Patricia {Young} Sampson.
Sandra worked for Silver Brothers. She was a member of the Emanuel Old Stone Church. She enjoyed reading, the holler and working on her flower beds. Sandra loved taking care of her girls, her babies and her "adopted" children.
Sandra will be deeply missed by Brian Aber of Jeromesville, children Autumn (David) Ridenbaugh of Shreve, Holly Lycans Wintrow of Jeromesville, Kara (Kevin) Baker of Shreve, Tabitha Houghton of Wooster, Toby Hooper and Bruce Aber both of Wooster, grandchildren Ivy and Dakota Wintrow, Kendra Houghton and Houghton baby on the way, Mother Patricia Sampson, Father Lester "Jack" (Sue) Houghton, brothers Robert (Roberta) Houghton of Ashland, Douglas Houghton of Wooster, sister Carole Sue (Lewis) Malcomb of Burbank, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by Scott Lycans, step-father Leroy Sampson.
