Sharon Kay Hinton

Sharon K. Hinton, 77, of Wooster, died Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Smithville Western Care Center.

Sharon was born October 18, 1945 in Wooster, Ohio to Robert and Viola {Ammon} Woodruff.

She married Charles Hinton on December 9, 2000. 

She worked at Perkys DayCare for 22 years before retiring.  Sharon attended Creston Community Church.  She loved crafting at Gilcrest and playing Bingo.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her husband, Charles; children Mark Beck, Keith (Tammi) Beck; Step-children Christopher (Joanna) Hinton, Kenny (Eloise) Hinton, and Sandy (Jeff) Seeden; many grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and best friend Elaine.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gary Woodruff, Galen Woodruff; sister Carol Sue Woodruff.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster in the Butterfly Garden.
