Sharon Louise Rapp, 84, of Marietta, died October 1, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family..
Louise was born May 16, 1931 in Marietta to Anna Meantz Shears.
She graduated from Marietta High School in 1949.
She married Irvin Rapp on January 3, 1952 and traveled with him for 21 years in the military.
Louise worked at Marietta Memorial Hospital for 30 years She volunteered at Senior Center Bingo and at the Marietta Convalescence Center. She loved to sew, bake, travel, and spend time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Louise will be deeply missed by her daughter Pam (Gary) Blume; grandchildren Chris Blume of Lancaster, OH and Beth (Todd) Moyers of Marietta; great-grandchildren Alexandra, McKenzie, Addison and Delaney Blume of Lancaster, OH; sisters-in-law Sonja Kay Wright, Jean Gribble and Irma Rapp; several nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Irvin and her mother Anna.
Friends may call Monday, October 5th from 2 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Calvert officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
