Shirley Berkowitz

Shirley A. Berkowitz, 82, of Wooster, died Friday, October 27, 2017 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 at Grace Church 4599 Burbank Road Wooster, Ohio 44691, with Pastor Randy Moomaw officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Shirley was born August 22, 1935 in Monroe, Ohio to Raymond and Elizabeth {Barrett} Adams.
She graduated high school in Cleveland in 1953.
Shirley married Aaron Berkowitz on June 25, 1955.
She started her employment in Cleveland, Ohio with White Motor Company, then after raising her son, she held various secretarial positions in Wooster. Shirley was a member of Grace Church, where she enjoyed being a greeter, and helping with the bulletins. She was an avid hockey fan, and loved attending sporting events of her grandchildren. Shirley always put her family first, and had never ending love for all of them.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her husband; son Brian (Colleen) Berkowitz of Columbia Station, Ohio; grandchildren Jonathan (fiancé Shereen), Brandan, Nicholas, and Blake; sisters Beverly Hardin and Karen (Chester) Deran; and brother Raymond (Sharon) Adams.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters Betty Bohl, and Janet Franklin.
