Shirley Goodwill

Shirley Jean Goodwill, 81, of Ashland, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at Kingston of Ashland Rehabilitation Center.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Shirley was born July 27, 1937 in Middleburg to John Eugene and Helen Lee {Bettinger} Cozzens.  She married Gilbert Warren Goodwill on March 20, 1954.  Gilbert passed away on December 12, 2003.

Shirley was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.  She was very proud of her family and enjoyed holidays and family get togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.

Shirley retired from Hartman Electric.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking and all things crafty. She collected dolls and American Indian decorations. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her children Janet (William “Toby”) Britton of Mansfield, Donald (Vickie) Goodwill of Mansfield, and Ronald “Dean” (Robin) Goodwill of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters Mildred Dimmerling and Carolyn (Gerald) Watson.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert W., sons Gilbert E. and Richard A. Goodwill, grandson Duane K. Goodwill, her parents, and four siblings.
