Shirley Heifner

Shirley Sue Heifner, 84, of Ashland, passed peacefully in her home Saturday, December 19, 2020 with her family by her side.

Shirley was born July 24, 1936 in Monroe County, Ohio to Harry and Mae {Schneeberger} Nalley. She married Charles Eugene Heifner on July 1, 1955. He passed away October 1, 2006. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, watching her husband dirt track race and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her children Deborah Yeager, Connie Heifner, Barbara Treece, Kathy (Russell) Brinker, Steve Heifner and Kristie (Jeff) Esbenshade; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers Larry (Linda) Nalley, Jerry Nalley, Duane (Joyce) Nalley and Jim (Linda) Nalley; sister-in-law Janet Nalley.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, grandson Billy Nixon, brother Donald Nalley, and sons-in-law Matt Smith, Randy Treece and Danny Yeager.

A private family service will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Entombment will be at Ashland County Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM for family and friends. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
