Stanley James Marti, 89, of Wooster, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice.
A private graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Stanley was born May 14, 1926 in West Salem to Carl and Augusta {Matty} Marti.
Stanley served in the United States National Guard.
He married Ruth M. Haley in 1950. She passed on November 1, 2005.
Stanley retired from Rubbermaid after 27 years.
Stanley will be deeply missed by his children Dennis Marti of Wooster, Jan Ickes of Sun City, AZ, and Jerry (Ann) Marti of West Salem; daughter-in-law Bonnie Ball-Marti of Wooster; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Carol Stewart of Denver, CO.
Stanley was preceded in death by his wife Ruth of 55 years, sons Lance and James Marti, grandson Jason Marti, brother Fred Marti, sister Doris Bill, and daughter-in-law Bonnie Marti.
