Steve G. Dolby, 69, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his daughter's residence surrounded by his family.
A family gathering will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 4-6 P.M. at the Eagles, 400 Eastlake Dr., Ashland, OH. Military rites will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve was born December 18, 1942 in Ashland, OH to Raymond W. and Mae V. {Schwartzwalder} Dolby.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Steve was a mechanic for Willis Dudley. He enjoyed horses, country music and westerns.
Steve will be deeply missed by his children Jenny Lindner of Ashland, Stephanie (Glenn) Adams of Wooster, Vickie Brindle of Salisbury, N.C., Steven Dolby of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Katelyn and Stacey Adams, Stephanie, Wesley and Rachel Brindle, Bryan Saffin and sister Margie Swope of Ashland.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Mae Dolby, sister Cathy Stuart and brother-in-law Willard Swope.
