Susan Kay Braucher, 62, of Wooster, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Hospice of North Central, in Ashland, surrounded by her loving family.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Oak Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Robin Dillon officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Susan was born January 1, 1952 in Wooster, Ohio to Robert Thurman and Josephine {Barbera} Jester. They preceded her in death.
She married William Braucher on July 14, 1984. He survives.
Susan worked for Rubbermaid Inc. for over 33 years. She was a member of Oak Chapel United Methodist Church. Susan was also a member of the American Legion Post 68 Aux. She enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting. Susan was an avid Indians and NASCAR fan.
Susan will be deeply missed by her husband, William, of 30 years; children Tim Braucher, Tracy Braucher and Misty Lance-Lee all of Wooster and William "Billy" Braucher II of Lakewood; grandchildren Cody Braucher, Amber (Brent) Bower, Terra Aten, Kyra Lee, Piper and Zoe Everett, Sophia and Andrea Lee, and expecting her next grandchild; great-grandchildren Branson and David Bower; brother Robert (Sue) Jester of Wooster; sister Pamela (Don) Schondel of Orrville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
