Suzanne Kay Chrest

Suzanne Kay Chrest, 73, of Howard, OH, passed away April 19, 2025, at Ohio Health Hospital, in Mansfield, OH.

Suzanne was born April 17, 1952, in Coshocton, OH to Charles William and Nellie Lee {Ashbaker} Botimer. Suzanne completed a bachelor's degree in education followed by a master’s degree in education. She taught second grade for about 36 years in the Canton area and was still correcting grammar after she retired. She loved to read and was a creative person, making crafts for all kinds of people, and filled her home with several beautiful crafts and projects. She loved wildlife and nature. She loved to travel and only missed one of the states in the USA.

Suzanne will be deeply missed by her son Daniel Chrest, his girlfriend Jessica Quach and Mr. Meatball (ChiPom mix); sisters LeAnn King, Jayne (Jim) McClure, and her brother Bill (Kathy) Botimer. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and Family may visit at 9:00 AM, May 2nd, 2025, followed by her Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM in the Roberts Funeral Home chapel, 18260 Coshocton Rd, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
