Thelma Olive Hawkins, 91, of Wadsworth, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Altercare of Wadsworth Center.
Thelma was born September 11, 1923 in Three Springs, PA to Otis Irvin and Mona Sue {Roher} Lane.
She married James W. Hawkins on September 11, 1943.
Thelma was the owner and operator of Franco's, later Thelma's Restaurant in Wadsworth. She was a member of the Northside Christian Church in Wadsworth. Thelma enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Thelma will be deeply missed by her children Bonnie Davis of Medina, Paul Hawkins of Wadsworth, Darla (David) Harris of Wadsworth and Anita Davis of San Francisco, CA; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Donna Shope of Three Springs, Charles "Bud" Lane of Sterling, Marian Grissinger of Virginia Beach, VA, Joanne Michaels of Chambersburg, PA and Gloria Whitsel of Virginia Beach.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband James, siblings Scott Lane, Lillian Perry and Carol Legg.
Friends may call Monday, September 7, 2015 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Fred Wells officiating. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
