Thomas Gibbons, 84 of Ashland, Ohio, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at UH Hospitals, in Parma, Ohio

Thomas was born June 16, 1936 in Fort Wayne, IL to Elmer J. Gibbons and Leona Johnson.

Thomas graduated High School in Canton, IL

He was a Korean War vet and was honorably discharged from the air force in 1962.

Thomas married Dee A. Evans in June of 1970.

Thomas was self-employed most of his life.

Thomas enjoyed working on old cars and trucks. He enjoyed riding his VW trike. He collected antique lamps and glassware. Thomas was a big nascar fan. Thomas loved the ocean and spent a few winters in Florida.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his children Geof (Lynn) Bednar of Smithville, Ohio, Dawn (Brian) Magiaracina of South Elgin, IL, Brett (Cindi) Bednar, of Elburn, IL, Rodney Gibbons of Gardner, IL, Eric (Tracy) Bednar of Rockford, IL, and Thomas (Jessica) Gibbons II of Ashland, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister Sister Rose Madonna Gibbons of Springfield, IL.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
