Thomas K. Lendon Jr., 67, of Big Prairie, died Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, in Millersburg.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. A private graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Rev. John and Beth Davis officiating, where military rites will be held. Memorial services will be held at Faith Harvest Fellowship, 116 E. South St., Wooster, OH 44691, on Saturday, April 15th at 12 p.m. with Rev. Jerry O'Brien officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home at P.O. Box 761, Wooster, OH 44691.
Thomas was born July 4, 1949 in Neffs, Ohio to Thomas Keith II and Dorris Jane {Davis} Lendon.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1968 to 1970.
He married Ada Miller on January 28, 1988.
Thomas was a self-employed painter. He was a member of Faith Harvest Fellowship. Thomas was a member of Shreve American Legion Post #67 and 11th Cav Black Horse.
Thomas will be deeply missed by his wife Ada of 29 years; children Jennifer (Paul) Lendon of Decatur, IN and Thomas K. Lendon IV of Orrville; grandchildren Joseph Miller, Elijah Lendon and Nehemiah Miller; brothers Bob (Linda) Lendon of Sterling and John (Judy) Lendon of Gallion; sister Dorothy Wilson of Gnadenhutten.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Lendon, sister Judy Rogers and brother-in-law Randy Wilson.
