Thomas Lane Shutt

Thomas Lane Shutt, 79, of Wooster, died September 18, 2024, at Westview Healthy Living, in Wooster, Ohio.

Thomas was born March 26, 1945, in Coshocton, Ohio to Delbert and Olive {Smith} Shutt.

He graduated from Coshocton High School in 1964.

Thomas married Barb DeTaeye on February 14, 1988. 

He retired from Rubbermaid after 29 years. Thomas loved spending time with Barb and his grandchildren, and he enjoyed working out in his home gym.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his wife; children Tom (Bonnie) Shutt, Michael (Jennifer) Shutt, Michelle (Jamie) Bowman, Rachel (Brad) Herpolsheimer; grandchildren Nathan, Christa, Mason, Morgan, Amber (Colton), Seamus, Kelli, Raymond, Addy, Derek, Malory; great-grandchildren Grayson, Landon, Emery Jo and his Sister-in-law Betty Shutt.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Lou Shutt, Sherlyn Shriver and brothers Carl, Wayne and Ronnie.
