Verna E. Starcher, 64, of Ashland, died Friday, March 22, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland.
Verna was born April 12, 1948 in Elyria, OH to Russell B. and Mary (Rodgers) Paddock. She Married David S. Starcher on June 20, 1970. He survives.
Verna was a member of the Mohican Valley Wings. She enjoyed traveling, camping and her four dogs "the girls." Verna enjoyed her girl trips to Put-In Bay. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Verna will be deeply missed by her husband David; children Daniel R. Starcher of Mansfield, Matthew (Jennifer) Starcher of Akron, Kelly (David) Matthys of Davenport, IA; grandchildren Griffin Starcher and Rylan Matthys; brother Russell Paddock of Huron, OH; and her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, March 25, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
