Vesta Marie Whitehair Baird, 79, of Mansfield, died Tuesday July 24, 2012 at her residence.
Friends may call Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 3 to 5 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Brother Leon Bond officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Vesta was born December 10, 1932 in Holmes County to James and Esther {Holderbaum} Fortune. She married Paul Whitehair in 1950. He passed away in 1966 after 16 years of marriage. Vesta married Henry Baird in January 1972. He passed away in 1985. She attended the Mansfield Church of Christ.
Vesta will be deeply missed by her children; Jim (Maleah) Whitehair of Charleston, S.C., Esther (Kim) Walton of Mansfield, OH , 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and siblings Viola O'Connor, Betty Clawson, and Naomi Pursley.
Vesta was preceded in death by her husband's Paul and Henry and her daughter Debbie.
