Violet Fisher

Violet Mae Fisher, 97, of Ashland, died Friday, December 10, 2021, at Brethren Care.

Violet was born January 28, 1924, in Ashland, Ohio to Edgar and Dorothy {Beeghly} Swinehart.

She married Gaylord Fisher on June 13, 1942. Gaylord passed away June 26, 2006.

She was a seamstress at Cresco and had a house cleaning business, however her most favored vocation was that of homemaker and mother, along with her days of committed ministry to family and others. Violet will be deeply missed by her children Janet (Bob) Heldenbrand of Haysville, Bruce (Jackie) Fisher of Ashland, Crystal (Brian) Roseborough of California, and Darlene (Bill) Scott of Ashland; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother Darl (Evelyn) Swinehart of Ashland; and sister Louise (Ted) Lopp of Indiana.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Duane Swinehart.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastors Norm Johnson and John Bouquet officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
