Virginia Mae Rush, 88, of Ashland, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Hospice of North Central Ohio.
Virginia was born December 23, 1925 in Jeromesville to Eugene and Arlene {Treece} Shaffer.
She married Chester Rush on July 20, 1946. He died in March 13, 1982.
Virginia worked at Faultless Abbott Labs for over 33 years. She was a member of the Eagles, AmVets and VFW.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her children Yvonne Rush of Wooster, Faye (Clark) Rolland of Ashland and Beatrice (Terry) Murphy of Wooster; grandchildren Rick (Dawn) Wright, Tina (Alan) Troutman, Michelle Murphy, Mark Wright, Stephanie Gault, June (Lance) Morris, Rondy (Christina) Gill, Kerri Workman, Sean (Tiffany) Murphy, Teresa Murphy, Melissa and Mike Verano; great-grandchildren Joshua Stimpert, Dustin Atterholt, Geoffrey Gault, Tristan Workman, Kaylee Workman, Maci Wright, Dustin Gill, Megan Berry, McKenzie Harrod, Kevin Morris, Jordyn Murphy, Jaedyn Murphy and Jocelyn Murphy and April Wright; great-great-grandchildren Bryson Morris, Dillon, Seth and Gracie Wright, Alex and Alan Verano and Breidan Gault; brother Ralph Shaffer; sister-in-law Gertrude Belongia and a special family friends, Roy Wright and Judy.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, of 36 years, son Chester Rush Jr. daughter Trudy Warner, sister-in-law Mariam Shaffer.
Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Rodney Kriedler officiating.
