Virginia Lea Yankello, 67, of Millersburg, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Aultman Hospital, in Canton.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Thursday at 1 pm at the Trinity Cemetery in Quiet Dell, WV. Gini was born September 9, 1944 in Kidderminster, England to James Otis and Kathleen Ellen {Bradley} Lowther.
She was a 1963 graduate of Waynedale HS; earned her BA from the University of Akron and obtained a Masters Degree from Barry University in Florida. Gini was an LISW working for Portage Path Mental Health Center. She was a member of the Unity Church in Massillon. She was a supporter and volunteer for AA. Gini loved camping, being outdoors, art, all types of music, and spending time with her family.
Gini will be deeply missed by her sons John "Chip" (Wah) Yankello of Shreve and Ted Yankello of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Cody and Dylan Yankello; brother Jim (Betty) Lowther II of Richmond, VA; sisters
Patricia (Alan) Vollweiler, Irvington, NY, Dianne (James Emerson) Morrison of Apple Creek, and Robbie Lewis of Holmesville; several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.
