Wanda Ruth Miller, 80, of Wooster, died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Memorial services will be Sunday at 2 P.M. at the Highland Church of God with Pastors Mark McCord and Wendell Sinclair officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Wanda was born June 17, 1937 in Moreland, Ohio to Elmer Ellsworth and Wilma Ruth {Mowrer} Miller.
She married Wilson Dean Miller on February 27, 1955.
She managed the family trucking business and traveled with her husband in the truck throughout all 48 Continental States and three Providences of Canada. Wanda was a member of the Highland Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking.
Wanda will be deeply missed by her husband; children Gregory (Leesa) Miller of Wooster, Michael Miller of Wooster, Pamela (Steve) Sloat of NC, and Sharon (Jeff) Tylka of Shreve; grandchildren Ryan (Tonya), Angie, Brent (Lisa), Jessi, Josh, Stephanie (Saif), Heather (Andrew), Sean (Katryna), Matt (Nikki) and Brittany; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Donnie; sisters June, Marjorie and Janet; Wanda was also well known for her warm heart as she opened her home to many foster children over the years.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ralph, Roy and Gene and a sister Virginia.
