Waneta A. Cain, 74, of Wooster, died Saturday at Lifecare Hospice, in Wooster, Ohio.
Friends may call Thursday, August 13, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
Waneta was born March 30, 1941 in Clay County, West Virginia to Clyde and Ora Jane {Crawford} Carr.
Waneta retired from Frito Lay after many years. She loved birds, cooking, working in her garden and reading books.
Waneta will be deeply missed by her; children Sherry Layfield of Wooster, Christine Sachetta of Chicago and Edward Cain of Sterling; grandchildren Ladeana Wright, Holly Layfield and Chantelle McFadden; great-grandchildren Dominik, Devin, Daegan, Draiden and Delaney; and brothers Cardell Carr of Colorado, Andrew Carr of West Virginia and their families.
Waneta was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Vereena, Mae and Fay and brother Fletcher.
