Wilbur L Bowers

Wilbur Leslie Bowers, 93, of Wooster, died January 17, 2025 at Danbury Senior Living, in Wooster.

Wilbur was born December 9, 1931 in Kidron, OH to Frank and Ethel {Conrad} Bowers.

He married Alverda Steiner on December 29, 1955. 

Wilbur was a passionate lifetime Farmer. He was a member of Northview Alliance Church where he held offices of Trustee, Elder and Sunday School Teacher. 

Wilbur will be deeply missed by his children Randy (Michele) Bowers of Wooster, Bonnie (Greg) Smith of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren Dan (Mary) Bowers and David (Katie) Bowers, Aaron Smith, Rachel (José) Gonzáles, and Micah Smith; great-grandchildren Kelly, Katy, Karly Bowers; brothers Jim, Paul and Duane.

Wilbur was preceded in death by his wife Alverda; sister Ellen Horst; brothers Roy, Doyle, Earl and Walter.

Friends may call Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Northview Alliance Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 at the church with Pastor Matt Walker officiating.
