Willard "Bill" Edward Daiber, 89, of Smithville, died Monday April 27, 2015 at Lifecare Hospice, in Wooster, Ohio.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum Chapel where military rites will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
Bill was born July 23, 1925 in Doylestown, Ohio to Conrad and Esther {Feightner} Daiber.
He was a member of the United States Army where he served as a Mechanic in occupied Germany.
Bill married Cora M. Althaus on December 20, 1954.
He worked for the Apple Creek State Institution where he cared for the patients and also as a truck driver. Bill loved gardening and taking care of his house which was his pride and joy.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife Cora of 60 years; children Roy E. Daiber of Orrville, Paul E. (Debra) Daiber of Wooster, Linda Karla of Parma; grandchildren Michelle Cochran and Mike and Alex Karla; great-grandchildren Abbey Cochran; brothers John Daiber, Lois Longazel.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim Daiber, sisters Edna Girrana and Conie Daiber.
